First name: KREATOR!

B'ESTFEST Summer Camp 2012 comes with a surprise for all the rock fans: a new scene totally dedicated to this music genre! The first name confirmed for this stage is Kreator, a representative name of the european thrash metal. The sixth edition will take place next year on 6, 7, 8 of July in Tunari.

If at others editions of B'ESTFEST rock fans had a special day, Aftershock, for this edition B'ESTFEST prepared o special stage, just for rock fans! Kreator is the first band confirmed on this stage and also the first name on the B'ESTFEST Summer Camp 2012 line-up!

Kreator is one of the most representative bands of thrash metal from Germany, founded in 1978. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, the other two big German thrash metal bands. All three of these bands are often credited with helping pioneer death metal, by containing several elements of what was to become the genre. During the time the band released 12 albums, "Endless Pain" - the debut album was released in 1985 - being considered a pivotal album for the black metal bands that use thrash elements in their music. Although many of their previous albums, including Pleasure to Kill (1986), were quite popular in the United States, Kreator did not experience major American commercial success until the 2009 release of their twelfth studio album, Hordes of Chaos, which peaked at number 165 on the Billboard 20] and debuted at #16 on the Media Control Charts.Currently the band is working on anew material which will be launched in the first half of 2012.

If with the previous editions we tried to dedicate one day to rock music, Aftershock, this year we have an entire scene dedicated to this genre, which means three times more rock! The new location has allowed us to extend, adding a camping area, therefore adding a rock stagee is the best choice at this point, given that traditionally, rockers prefer this kind of experience. We prepared several surprises for next year - stay tuned!
