General Conditions
The General Conditions of Emagic apply to B’ESTFEST 2009. For the complete list of General Conditions check also www.emagic.ro. A list of festival rules will also be displayed at the entrance in the festival area. The organizer has right to make changes in the festival program but also in the list of General Conditions. These modifications will be posted on the festival site.
Access to the site
If you bought one-day tickets or 3 day-tickets you will be given a wrist-band which you must wear it all the time and it will give you access to the festival grounds. The only way in the festival grounds is entrance A1.
For festival tickets, following additional rules apply:
Your ticket offers you access to the festival, not for an individual artist performance. Tickets can not be exchanged or refunded because of any reasons independent of the control of the organizer, including (but not limited to) change in the artist line-up, unfavorable weather conditions, strikes etc.
ID
All visitors on the festival grounds should carry a valid form of ID.
Parking
Please use public transport or come by foot. There is no car parking space available anywhere near Romexpo except for people who have been issued parking passes.

Disabled people
In the festival area it will be made available a platform for disabled people. Disabled people may be accompanied by one chaperone, but both persons must be in possession of a valid ticket. Disabled people must contact Emagic (comunicare@emagic.ro) at least 2 weeks before the event to be registered and to obtain information regarding their entrance to the site.
Children’s access into the festival area
Our policy is to discourage parents into bringing their children to our concerts. We find this perfectly justified as this type of events` sound power is beyond the level of noise a child can bear. Also, in USA, as well as in many other European countries, there have been recorded various complaints regarding serious forms of auditory problems at children who have been brought at this kind of events. Nevertheless, in some countries there is also legislation that forbidden the children` participation to such musical events, since their body is constantly growing and it is thus more sensitive to these factors that can endanger their health.
One of the ways through which we would like to discourage the children`s participation to concerts/festivals is not to offer free pass or reductions on children`s tickets. Also, each parent is informed before buying tickets towards the danger to which he exposes his child by bringing him to the concert. Finally, it is obviously the parents` decision and they are fully responsible of it.
For the future, we seriously take into consideration the idea of arranging a special area for children within the festival grounds, away from the noise sources. But this is an idea that could be applied not sooner than the following editions. Until then, we will pursuing our intercession into drawing the attention upon the risks to which children are exposed during this kind of events.
Lost & Found/Info Desk
There is a Lost & Found booth available inside the festival grounds. Please bring here anything you may find that somebody lost or report here if you have lost something valuable. Also, this booth will work as an Info Desk.
First Aid
There will be first aid positions and ambulances in the festival area. Go there if you need medical help. In case of emergency all security staff fitted with a radio transmitter can contact first aid in case a medical patient is not able to make his way himself to first aid.
Public Catering / Token system
All food and drink you wish to consume on site can only be bought with tokens and not with cash. The tokens you require can be purchased at the cashier desks inside the festival grounds near the large food court. Excess tokens can be exchanged back for money at the end of the day when you leave. We have for you on the festival ground various foods dishes available, in our special Food-Courts!
Drinks
We have for you on the B’ESTFEST 2008 grounds nine large bars which sell: beer drafts, soda, water, lemonade and fresh of orange. Furthermore, there will be mobile beer sellers (only with tokens) available to you on the festival grounds.
Cigarettes & Merchandise
Cigarettes can be bought at all merchandise stands with cash only (not tokens), and only if you are over 18 years old. There will be merchandise stands on the festival grounds. Merchandise can only be bought with cash, not with tokens.
Toilets
There will be toilet groups available to you, split into male and female and illuminated at night. All toilets are cleaned as much as possible during the festival period, so some toilets may be closed temporarily during the event for this reason. Please use the toilets in a hygienic way; others will do this for you too.
You are NOT allowed to bring to the festival grounds:
Any glass or plastic bottles, any glass or metal cans, any weapon or object which could be used as a weapon, large chains, professional or semi-professional photo cameras with zoom or removable lenses, video cameras (any size), banners or stickers, any spray can other than a small deodorant or perfume, umbrellas, (folding) chairs, BBQ’s.
Security/ Gendarmerie/Police
We have on site a large number of Security Guards, Gendarmerie and Police officers. They are here for your safety and security. Please treat them with respect and you can expect from them to be treated with respect as well.
Fire
Making a fire or BBQ on site is absolutely forbidden and far too dangerous in such a crowd. Firemen (Pompieri) are available on site.
Crowd surfing & Stage Diving
Crowd surfing is dangerous not only to those who do it but also to the people around you. It is not allowed at our festival. Stage diving is dangerous and also not allowed.
Drugs:
There will be a zero tolerance policy against any form of illegal drugs.
Video & Audio
Recording Video & Audio recording without the prior written consent of the promoter is illegal. A sound and film recording will be made of the event. Everyone who appears on the recordings may not have any claims to the makers of the recordings or the organizers of the festival.
Graffiti
Any graffiti or other damage to the site or the goods on site is illegal.
Trading& Flyering
Trading in goods and flyering on the Festival ground is not permitted unless consent is obtained from the promoter in writing prior to the event.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the Festival grounds.
Trees and constructions on site
It is not permitted to climb trees or other constructions on site.
Waste
We have provided many bins on site for all your waste. Please use them. A clean site makes for a happier festival and you can help us by using the bins. Where possible we will do our best to empty the bins when they are full. Do not hesitate to contact a member of the security staff when you see a bin is full. He can arrange to have it emptied.
