MOTORHEAD – THE LOUDEST BAND IN THE WORLD – COMES AT B`ESTFEST! |

The British heavy-metal band Motorhead is the first confirmation in the B`ESTFEST 2009 first three days schedule. The festival`s 3rd edition will take place at the Romexpo complex in Bucharest, along four days: July 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.
The band started in 1975, in London, and their first official studio album, ''Motorhead'', was released on the market two years later, in 1977, rapidly reaching the 3rd position in the UK Albums Chart. The band`s resounding success came in the early 80s, when Motorhead, amongst albums such as ''Overkill'', ''Bomber'', ''Ace of Spades'' and most of all ''No Sleep `til Hammersmith'', consolidated their position on the international heavy-metal scene/stage, being actually considered as one of the great musical influences upon the speed and trash metal genres. Although the Motorhead sound could be easily situated in these categories, Lemmy, the band`s vocalist, prefers to typify his musical style as pure rock`n roll, since their lines cover various themes such as war, power abuse, promiscuity or just the mere artist`s life, on his almost everyday way on tour.
Formed at the moment by Lemmy, on his real name Ian Kilmister (vocal, bass guitar), Phill Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums), Motorhead just fulfilled this year 33 years of activity, along which they released no less than 19 studio albums, numerous live materials, compilations and singles, and having been awarded frequent awards, amongst which the Grammy Award for The Best Live Appearance of a heavy-metal band, in 2005. More than that, Motorhead joined the history of rock music, being considered by many fans of the genre as the the noisiest band in the world. Their recent album, ''Motorizer'', was released in the Summer of 2008.
The three days subscriptions, available for July 2nd, 3rd and 4th, are 270 RON, and the tickets for B`ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK are available for two price categories, depending on their position towards the stage: 100 and 150 RON (Zone A, in front of the stage). B`ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK, the final day of the festival, will display as headliners the legendary band Manowar. The B`ESTFEST subscriptions and the tickets for AFTERSHOCK can be bought from the Diverta stores and online, on www.myticket.ro .

Nu stiu din Iasi, dar din Bistrita faci 9 ore cu masina. Tren n-am decat noaptea. Asta e, cred ca n-am sanse sa-i prind. Dar m-as consola daca i-ati aduce pe Anthrax. Sau chiar si Dio. :D |

@rozatoare: daca tii neaparat sa ajungi, ajungi. Eu nu-s bucurestean si dau bac-ul. Totusi reusesc sa ajung din Iasi in Bucuresti, astfel incat sa prind prima zi de Bestfest. |

Poate daca te gandeai si tu putin ti-ai fi dat seama ca inca nu s-a inventat teleportarea.
Si sa pornesti spre Bucuresti imediat ce ai iesit de la examen, tot nu ajungi la concert la timp, daca stai, de exemplu in nord-vestul tarii. |

Am vazut pe site-ul lor trecuta data de 2 iulie. Genial! De ce a trebuit sa-i puneti in ultima zi de bac? Mai sunt doua zile libere in care i-ati putea pune. Ar fi foarte bine pe data de 4, cu o zi inainte de Manowar, sau daca nu, chiar si pe 3. |

METALLICA sigur intrepind un turneu european in perioada aia.Acum am verificat si nu mai au nici un concert din 24 iunie 2009 pana in 7 iulie 2009.As vrea ca unele concerte sa fie televizete.Vedeti exemplul festivalelor precum PINKPOP , ROCK AM RING , ALIVE FESTIVAL [PORTUGAL] , ROCK IN RIO .
Pe langa asta sunt destule trupe importante care au lansat anul acesta albume si vor intreprinde turnee de mare anvergura.
P.O.D poate fi adaugat la lista mea :)
Puteti sa va ganditi si la ceva mai soft,gen Paramore,Oasis,Radiohead..

No, B'Estfest is not becoming a metal festival BUT it will have 'more metal' because we figure that rock/metal fans want it, need it and deserve it.
Snow Patrol is indeed a great band and trust us, we are checking ALL THE GREAT BANDS to find out if they want to come to B'Estfest, if we can afford them , if they are touring (and close to our region) in the B'Estfest period , if we can give them the place in the line-up they deserve, if we think our audience wants to see them (and pay a ticket for them), etc..
Hope to be able to announce a couple of more great names before the Christmas holidays. Stay tuned !

Eu astept sa ma decid la fata locului :) in 1984, Guinness Book of World Records a ales Manowar drept 'cea mai zgomotoasa trupa din lume'. Dat fiind faptul ca eram prea mic pe-atunci, nu-mi amintesc mare lucru, asa ca ma voi increde in consemnarile istoriei... Pe de alta parte, in perioada mai recenta a vietii mele, am aflat ca fanii considera Motorhead trupa cu acest titlu. O sa aflu adevarul dupa cele patru zile de B'ESTFEST :D |

a, nu, ca n-am intrebat aiurea. eu chiar astept un raspuns de la voi. asta pentru ca la anuntul ca manowar va canta la bucuresti anul viitor, toata presa a scris ca ar fi cea mai zgomotoasa trupa din lume. informatie venita tot de la voi, evident. ca acum sa aflam ca, de fapt, nu sunt ei, ci astia de la motorhed.
