After the first voting session ended, B`ESTFEST acceded into the UK Festival Awards finals, the most prestigious awards of festivals industry in the world, placing itself amongst the best rated European events of its kind! The final stage of the competition will last until November 4th, as each category`s final winners are going to be announced on November 19th.
Due to the numbers of votes obtained in the first stage of the UK Festival Awards, the festivals' ''Oscar'' ceremony, B`ESTFEST has entered into the finals for the ''Best Overseas Festivals''. Alongside B`ESTFEST, the finalist ''shortlists'' also includes renowned festivals such as Benicassim (Spain), Oxegen (Ireland), Sonar (Spain), Coachella (USA), Exit (Serbia) or Big Day Out (Australia).
Those who wish to vote for this year`s best festivals, or for 2009's best ''anthems'' and festival artists, can express their choice by entering http://www.festivalawards.com/ until November 4th, as the final results are going to be officially announced during the prize award ceremony, which will take place at the O2 Dome in London, on November 19th. The contest that offers invitations to next year`s winning festivals` editions proceeds also proceeds until November 4th, and those who will be voting their favourites festivals are going to be automatically enlisted in the competition.

The first stage of the UK Festival Awards ended on Octomber 14th and the public`s votes chose the finalists for the most coveted awards in the industry. Being considered true ''Oscars'' of the music festivals, the awards` first edition took place in 2004, only online. Starting with 2006, the awards were presented during spectacular live events, designed to gather the most important players in the international live entertainment industry.
