For the inspiration and the... courage he shown in bringing the ''Kings of Metal'' to Romania, Guido Janssens (Emagic) received from the Manowar members a special award: The Balls of Steel!
Joey DeMaio, together with Eric Adams, presented Guido to the Romanian audience as the only promoter from Romania who had enough nerve to organize a Manowar concert.
The event took place on stage, during the live performance of Manowar, on 5th of July, at B'ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK.
This award does not belong to me, but to all Manowar fans who wanted to see their heroes in Romania.
Once the fans made us aware of how much they wanted to have Manowar in Romania, my job was easy..
Convince Manowar to headline Aftershock and to provide a soundsystem that would be powerfull enough - if pushed 'over' the maximum - to blow up some generators. Guess I managed to do my job!
