ANOTHER DAY AT B`ESTFEST AND A NEW CONFIRMATION: THE KILLERS START “DAY ZERO” AT B`ESTFEST! |

B`ESTFEST adds another day: ''Day Zero'', July 1st, will be offering to the public a short preview of the festival, as well as the chance to see live one of the hottest bands of the moment, for the first time in Romania: THE KILLERS! ''Day Zero'' will continue with the three B`ESTFEST days, 2nd, 3rd, 4th of July, and B`ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK, on July 5th.
The Killers formed in 2002 and it now comprises of Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboard), Dave Keuning (guitar, backvocals), Mark Stoermer (bass guitar, back vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (percussion, drums). Their sound, a captivating mix of modern electronic music and rock influences from the 80s and the 90s, carried many people, the band`s first album, ''Hot Fuss'' having sold almost 5 million copies! Promoted by hits like ''Somebody told me'', ''Mr. Brightside'' and ''Smile Like You Mean It'', the album reached the first place in the charts worldwide, maintaining its position in the Billboard top over 50 weeks. More than that, ''Hot Fuss'' finds itself among the 1001 albums mentioned in Robert Dimery`s book: ''1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die''. ''Hot Fuss'' was followed by another two albums: ''Sam`s Town'', released in 2006 and ''Day and Age'', released in November 2008. ''Day and Age'' recorded a genuine success from its very releasing weeks, reaching the first place in the best selling albums chart in UK and even outmatching ''Chinese Democracy'', the Guns N`Roses` come-back album! The first single from ''Day and Age'', ''Human'', rapidly became one of the most listened songs of the moment on the radios worldwide!
Starting with Thursday, January 22nd, the one day festival tickets will also be put on sale on www.mytickets.ro and with January 27th, in the Diverta stores, for ''Day Zero'', as well as for the three B`ESTFEST days. The one day tickets are only available for the festival day for which they are bought (''Day Zero'', 2nd, 3rd or 4th of July) and they will be put on sale for the following prices: 110 lei, by April 1st; 130 lei during April 2nd - June 30th; 150 lei at the entrance, during the festival.
The three day subscriptions, available for July 2nd, 3rd and 4th, are available only on pre-sale for 270 lei, and the tickets for B`ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK are available for two price categories, depending on the position towards the stage: 100 lei and 150 lei (Zone A, in front of the stage). The B`ESTFEST subscriptions and the AFTERSHOCK tickets can be bought from the Diverta stores and online, on www.myticket.ro .

abia astept concertul celor de la the killers!de cand au confirmat venirea la bestfest am inceput sa invatz si eu pt facultate[sa nu am restante si sa pot veni]
THE KILLERS au fost o motivatie excelenta!mi-am luat toate examenele si pe 1 vin sa-i vad:D

o sa fie organizarea la fel de proasta ca si anul trecut?adica va trebui sa alergam din nou de la o scena la alta(dintr-un capat la altul al romexpo) si sa prindem jumatate din fiecare concert?si cand se definitiveaza lista artistilor?nu de alta,dar sa stiu pe ce dau banii. |

Cred ca deja au schimbat data dorita initial ca sa convina si programului trupei, e clar ca scorneala cu "ziua zero" este pentru ca in celelalte zile The Killers nu puteau veni. Astept si alte nume mari in celelalte zile! |
