The Killers formed in 2002 and it now comprises of Brandon Flowers (lead vocals, keyboard), Dave Keuning (guitar, backvocals), Mark Stoermer (bass guitar, back vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (percussion, drums). Their sound, a captivating mix of modern electronic music and rock influences from the 80s and the 90s, carried many people, the band`s first album, “Hot Fuss” having sold almost 5 million copies! Promoted by hits like “Somebody told me”, “Mr. Brightside” and “Smile Like You Mean It”, the album reached the first place in the charts worldwide, maintaining its position in the Billboard top over 50 weeks. More than that, “Hot Fuss” finds itself among the 1001 albums mentioned in Robert Dimery`s book: “1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die”.
“Hot Fuss” was followed by another two albums: “Sam`s Town”, released in 2006 and “Day and Age”, released in November 2008. “Day and Age” recorded a genuine success from its very releasing weeks, reaching the first place in the best selling albums chart in UK and even outmatching “Chinese Democracy”, the Guns N`Roses` come-back album! The first single from “Day and Age”, “Human”, rapidly became one of the most listened songs of the moment on the radios worldwide!
