The band was formed in 2003, in Timisoara, by Gaben, Coco, Floyd and Cristian, its name being inspired from the last motion picture of the famous director Ingmar Bergman. At the beginning of 2004, the band`s first public performance has been very well seen amongst the audience, as well as within the local press, which rapidly named them ''the British band of Timisoara''. After a year 2008 full of concerts in Romania`s largest cities, one of time aside dEUS (B), Kultur Shock (USA), Air Traffic (UK), Trash Fashion (UK) and Robots in Disguise (UK), 2009 started with the song ''Momentary Lack of Passion'' reaching the first places in the rdio charts, which designated Persona as one of the best Romanian brit-indie bands. After the first concert abroad, in Budapest, Persona will be playing this year at B`ESTFEST, on July 4th, in the same day with Santana, The Charlatans, The Ting Tings and Looptroop Rockers.
