The TROOPER story began in 1995, when Alin and Aurelian Dinca brothers, aside Ionut “Oscar” Radulescu, decided to put all their money into musical instruments, inspired by renowned bands such as Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. The band first entitled themselves Megarock, but after repeatedly changing their name, they decide to keep the name of TROOPER, the actual componency being Ionut Radulescu (bass, vocals), Ionut Covalciuc (drums, percussions), Alin Dinca (vocals), Laurentiu Popa (guitars, vocals), Aurelian Dinca (guitar, keyboards, vocals). At 14 years from their start, Trooper can proudly display an impressive CV: they performed on the same stage with Sepultura, Prodigy, The Cult, Rasmus, W.A.S.P., Rotting Christ and Iron Maiden, they released four albums - “Trooper” (2002), “Desant” (2005), “Electric” (2006) and “Rock'n'Roll Pozitiv” (2008), as well as a boxset which includes their first studio materials and a DVD - “TROOPER 12 years - MEMORIES”.
