MANIC STREET PREACHERS SAYS "GOOD BYE" TO DOROTHY CAFé

Posted by B'ESTFEST on 17 june 2008, 17:11

Manic Street Preachers members said "farewell" to the Dorothy Café, a coffee shop that was closed last month. The 60 years old café was the favorite meeting place of the band members for a long time, the place where hits like “Motorcycle Emptiness” and “A Design For Life” were born.

The Coffee shop was opened for the first time after the second world war by an Italian couple who moved to Whales in Great Britain. “The best milky coffee in South Wales! It will be sadly missed!” said the bassist Nicky Wire. “They were really supportive of the band at the start. They sold copies of our single and they never took any commission.” said Manics singer, James Dean Bradfield

Manic Street Preachers will perform at B'ESTFEST in the second day of the festival, on 5th of July.
