APOLLO 440

Apollo 440 (alternately known as Apollo Four Forty) is an English group formed in 1990 in Liverpool by brothers Trevor and Howard Gray, with Noko and James Gardner, although Gardner left after the recording of the first album. Their debut album, “Millennium Fever”, was released in 1994 on their own Stealth Sonic Recordings label. They successfully invaded both the pop charts and the dancefloor with their combination of rock, techno and ambient. Two years later, Apollo 440 released “Electro Glide in Blue”, their second material, followed by another two albums: “Getting' High in Your Own Supply” in 1999 and “Dude Descending a Staircase” in 2003.

Hit-singles “Krupa”, “Ain't Talking ‘Bout Dob”, “Stop The Rock”, “Heart Go Boom”, as well as the successful remixes for artists like U2, Robbie Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Manic Street Preachers, Jean Michelle Jarre and Offspring made them famous worldwide and turned Apollo 440 in a brand name for the electro music scene!
