CYPRESS HILL

B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs, together with percussionist Eric Bobo form Cypress Hill, one of the most important and influential hip-hop groups ever. Their slow, rolling bass-and-drum loops pioneered a new, stoned funk that became extraordinary influential in '90s hip-hop - it could be heard in everything from Dr. Dre's G-funk to the chilly layers of English trip-hop. DJ Muggs crafted the sound, and B Real, with his pinched, nasal voice, was responsible for the rhetoric that made them famous.

Singles like "How I Could Just Kill a Man” “Insane in the Brain”, “Hits from the Bong”, “Tequila Sunrise” and “Dr. Greenthumb” brought Cypress Hill not only world-wide success and credibility, but also made their first four studio albums - “Cypress Hill”, “Black Sunday”, “III Temples of Boom” and “IV” go multiple gold and platinum. The most recent albums - “Skull & Bones”, “Stoned Raiders” and “Till Death Do Us Part” - brought new rock and even Jamaican influences to the group's sound, the successful singles “Rap/Rock Superstar”, “Trouble”, “Lowrider” and “What's Your Number?” enlarging their cross-over fan-base.
