The Canadian artist Nelly Furtado came to fame in 2000, with the release of her debut album “Whoa Nelly!”, impressing the audience with her ability to approach different kinds of music, sounds, instruments and vocal styles. Her first single brought her not only the appreciation of the public, but also her first Grammy Award, for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” (2002). Two years later, the single “Forca”, from her second album “Folklore”, became the official anthem of the European Football Championship.
In 2006 Nelly starts collaborating with Timbaland, one of the most appreciated producers of the moment, and releases her third album “Loose” which instantly becomes a huge success! Singles like "Promiscuous", "Maneater", "Say It Right", and "All Good Things (Come to an End)" will easy transform into mega-hits, and the album is sold in more than 4 millions copies worldwide! In 2007 Nelly worked with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland for the song “Give It To Me'', which became Nelly's third Number One single in the US, and her second in UK. In the same year, the artist wins the MTV Award for “The Album of the Year” and releases het first DVD, “Loose the Concert”.
