ROISIN MURPHY (MOLOKO)

Dublin-born singer Róisín Murphy started her career when she met producer Mark Brydon, with whom she formed the eclectic electronic pop duo Moloko. The pair's trip-hop and funk influenced electro sound scored them several hits, including "Sing It Back", "The Time Is Now" and "Fun for Me". After completing the tour supporting Moloko's fourth album, 2002's “Statues”, Roisin Murphy embarked on a solo career.

In 2005, she released her solo debut album “Ruby Blue”. Her sophomore album, “Overpowered”, followed in 2007, and featured productions by Bugz in the Attic and Groove Armada members ("Let Me Know" with Groove Armada was the second single of the album).
