NEO

The band neo came into being in autumn 1998. It was the brainchild of Mátyás Milkovics and during the first five years of its existence it was operating as a duet, in which Márk Moldovai constituted the other, vital part for a long time.

The band began building its own producing and studio land, known as NEOWORLD, in the middle of the 90's. Their debut single adapted the theme of Pink Panther. The Pink Panther Theme came out in 1998 and has been released in over 20 countries, such as Canada, South Africa or Japan. The adaptation has made its way to several compilation records. In Japan, it appeared on the same album with the Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Blur and the Freestylers.

The debut album of the band, EKLEKTOGRAM, became available in the shops in summer 1999. Both instrumental and vocal songs can be heard on the record among various mixed styles. Krisztián Sz?cs participated in the writing and singing of four songs.
At the beginning of 2004, the duet decided to follow their separate paths in the field of music. After having created three brilliant albums and six really successful singles, Márk decided to turn to producing, while Mátyás started to do something completely different.

2004 marked the birth of an entirely new neo, in which, next to Mátyás Milkovics we can welcome Enik? Hodosi , Péter K?váry and also Gerg? Sz?cs electro-drummer who joined to the creative group at the second part of the year.

The group produced the soundtrack of “Kontroll”, wich has been nominated at the 2005 Oscar and at several other significant North-American festivals.
