Deluka are an electronic/indie band from Birmingham in U.K whose members are Ellie Innocenti (vocals/guitar), Kris Kovacs (guitar/synths/production), Daniel Brasco (bass) and Stevie Palmer (drums).
Innocenti and Kovacs founded the group in 2004. Both of them left behind the remains of their former musical projects, acoustic band (Innocenti) and production duo (Kovacs), due to their discontent with the musical direction of their respective bands and their desire to start something fresh: Deluka! Almost immediately the pair began writing and recording songs. Innocenti's lyrical and melodic talents coupled with Kovacs's electronic expertise created something highly original and unique; Soon after that, “the best drummer in Birmingham”, Stevie Palmer and the bass player Daniel Brasco came on board completing the line-up.
The band came for the first time in Bucharest last year, for a show at UnderLondon Fest. This year, Deluka will perform on 5th of July, at B'ESTFEST.
