REAMONN WILL SING “SUPERGIRL AT B'ESTIVAL 2007”

A few days ago, the controversial Marilyn Manson had the newspapers' front pages. Now it is time for spirits to calm down a little: Emag!c Entertainment confirms another international artist for B'ESTIVAL 2007: more peaceful and romantic Reamonn.

This summer, in the Romexpo complex in Bucharest, over 40.000 people will have the chance to participate at an international festival: for two days, show biz stars, together with Romanian artists will guarantee the party at B'ESTIVAL!

„Supergirl” and „Tonight” are already international hits, occupying the first place both in the radio charts and in the public's preferences, so there is no doubt that Reamonn's show will be one of the summer's highlights. The band's leader, Rea Garvey, has already visited Romania, his wife Josephine was born in Cluj. She promised some time ago that her husband would have a concert in Romania, and she has kept her word.

Named for Irish-born frontman Reamonn Garvey, the inoffensive five-piece formed in late 1998 in Germany. The combination of raw folk and glossy production proved successful: the first German single "Supergirl" made the Top Ten and the LP, 2000's Tuesday, went gold. They toured on both sides of its release with H.I.M., the Guano Apes, and Bon Jovi and went back to work on a follow-up shortly thereafter, even though they were unaware if their style of music would have a place in the world when they resurfaced, releasing a new album, “Dream No.7”.

The German-based band already has a multi-platinum résumé, conquering new territories with every release, but their fourth studio album ‘Wish' is one we're likely to look back on soon as the staging post to a new level of creative and commercial achievement. They've made their ‘Wish,' and it's come true on the best record of their career, Reamonn's first to be recorded outside of Europe, in Los Angeles.

The explanation for the longevity that connects Reamonn's distinguished past with their even more promising future is, simply, that they're five parts of a whole. “This isn't a story of an Irish frontman and four German guys trying to get a note in edgewise. We're mates and collaborators. Only the band that writes together really does stay together.”
