B'ESTIVAL 2007 will be the first local festival according to the international demands: on a period of three days (between 29 of June and 1of July), Romania will have the chance to see the most impressive density of international music stars on square meter so far. Made possible be Emag!c Entertainment, B'ESTIVAL will be evolved in open space, inside of Romexpo Complex, on a surface of 20.000 square meters.It will be a basic arena, a secondarione and a huge tent that will accommodate the third arena as well as the Silent Disco partises.
The names that have been announced in the last 2 moths Marliyn Manson,Alice cooper, Wu-Tang Clan, Reamonn, Kasabian, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital) and Yonderboi - have already created the gurantee that the B'ESTIVAL will be the most important music event ever took place in Romania! TO strenghten this asertion, a new headliner is beeing added to the rest of the names that will sing at the B'ESTIVAL: Hooverphonic!
Hooverphonic is based in Belgium, a small European country with a strong music scene featuring an open air festival tradition that starts as early as 1959.
Hooverphonic's career has been marked from the beginning by international recognition, when the song '2 Wicky' was chosen for the movie 'Stealing Beauty' by Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci. From then on, their music kept appearing in movies, TV shows and commercials in the States, as well as in Spain and Japan.
If Hooverphonic's '97 debut 'A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular' clearly showed trip hop roots, the band has evolved since with three albums in five years. In 2001 they headlined at the Werchter festival in front of a crowd of 50.000. In 2003 they released 'Sit Down and Listen to', live recorded with a string quartet and followed by a tour with more than 60 concerts in 9 countries.

The full complet program will be announced after the line-up of the B'ESTIVAL will be completed with other international names, as well as romanian ones.
According to the pre-sells of the tickets, the organizators estimate that the first 3-day-pass it will be finished by the middle of April.On the www.myticket.ro web site have been puted on sale for the first day (60 RON), for the second day and the third day (75 RON), as well they can purchase on line and the VIP tickets , at the price of 300 RON per day, and the 3-day-pass of the festival (180 RON).The tickets are in limited number, and the prices are availeble only in pre sell period. |
